This sounds stupid, but I think life is telling me to keep my thumbnails as short as possible. Firstly, my nails are generally weak. Then, I had piano, which forced me to constantly trim my nails short. After that, we have flute, which hurts my thumbs when the nails are long. Now I’m getting into lab where opening tubes has literally split my thumbnail in two. WTF.
Oh well. Like I care that...

I can’t imagine that anyone’s college experience is exactly what they thought it would be before they started.
In both situations, though, it’s way better than high school.

I’ve been thinking that our 20’s will be like our teens. Everyone will think they are more mature and adult than they actually are, we’ll make stupid mistakes and generally make fools of ourselves, but somewhere in there most everyone figures *some* shit out about life.
